I am currently a teacher in the Somerset/Dorset area and have experience of training students for the AQA & OCR exam boards.

I am a graduate from the University of Exeter with a Batchelors degree in Biology and I have also completed a PhD in Biochemistry

Availability: I am currently available most evenings and weekends but often have to alternate days for my lessons each week to accommodate childcare and my husbands shift patterns.

Experience: I have taught in two mixed comprehensives since becoming a teacher and an currently a teacher in a private school in the Somerset/Dorset area. During my time as a teacher I have taught all three science subjects and prepared students for the AQA GCSE exam board and AQA/ OCR A level exam boards. I have extensive training in developing schemes of work, strategies for developing revision and exam techniques, to be ultimately successful in final exams.

During my time studying for PhD I have tutored many A level students in both Biology and Chemistry and also students wishing to sit GAMSAT examinations for medical school. I am familiar with most exam boards specifications including the new 2016 AQA specification and exams.
