Maria

Dr Maria has a long experience in teaching Statistics and Biology in Higher Education. She has a PhD in Molecular Biology from the City University of New York and an MSc in Medical Statistics from the University of Leicester. She has worked as a lecturer at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus and the City University of New York, USA, teaching Biology and conducting research in the field of cancer.
She worked for several years at the University of Leicester where she provided statistics support for a wide range of research studies and helped hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate students with their research work. She developed and taught Statistics courses for students with no Statistics background which became popular among students who needed practical and immediate help with their research projects.
She has co-supervised PhD students and has published extensively in scientific journals in the fields of Cancer, Respiratory illness,
Cardiovascular illness and Psychology.
Whether you need help with using the correct methodology to analyse and interpret your data, preparing a report with your results or understanding basic statistics or Biology concepts, Dr Maria has the passion and expertise to help you achieve your goals.

Availability: Dr Maria is flexible and will try to accommodate you. She is available during the week as well as on weekends.
