I am an experienced, effective teacher of English at all levels. Over the past twenty-four years I have privately tutored hundreds of students, most facing important exams but others simply needing some extra help.

When I first meet a student, I do a thorough assessment of their skills by interviewing them, giving them assignments and examining their previous work. I then design a programme of study based around their individual needs which focuses on the areas most relevant to them.

I am also an experienced examiner who can advise students how to work towards increasing their grade. I am currently employed by both AQA and Edexcel as a GCSE English examiner.

For the current academic year, I can only offer online lessons. I have found these to be highly effective and very convenient for students and their parents.
