Hello, my name is Mark and I am a highly experienced Geography teacher. I studied Geography at the University of Edinburgh and completed my PGCE at the University of Oxford. Since then, I have worked at some of the leading schools in the UK and overseas at the British International School in Ho Chi Minh City.

My approach is provide students with simple yet effective frameworks that facilitate deeper and broader analysis and evaluation, as well as focusing on the written communication that demonstrates higher levels of critical thinking.

Availability: Available during weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: Since 2009, I have worked at Reigate Grammar School, The British International School in Ho Chi Minh City (Head of Department), City of London Boys School (Head of Department), and I currently teach at North London Collegiate School which is one of the highest performing independent girls in the country.

I have experience teaching with a number of exam boards:

- Cambridge IGCSE (6 years)
- EDEXCEL ICGSE (7 years)
- Cambridge Pre-U (2 years)
- EDEXCEL A Level (3 years)
- International Baccalaureate (7 years)

I currently teach Edexcel IGCSE, Edexcel A Level and the IB DP

I have worked as an external examiner for EDEXCEL (June 2023) and the IB, so I am well-versed in the specific nuances that the examiners are looking for.
