I have been teaching A Level Psychology and Sociology for seventeen years and this experience has helped 95% of my students achieve grades A*-B. It is essential to answer exam questions precisely to avoid losing marks. Therefore, I teach my students exam technique and show them how to answer questions in order to meet specific exam board requirements. which is why all my students improve, most by several grades.

Sometimes students don`t get the grade they hoped for and want to take another subject. I have taught A Level Sociology in one year to numerous students with excellent results including several A*s.

Many students have commented on my ability to simply explain complex information they had not previously understood. This enables me to teach those of all ability levels and to help my students obtain the best possible results and achieve their full potential.

Psychology students often struggle with the research methods but, as a research-based subject, it`s impossible to achieve high grades without knowing this well. I also provide students with my own summarised notes which they find extremely helpful. Grades rapidly improve once students have learnt how to apply their knowledge appropriately.

We discuss the real-world issues around the topics which makes them more memorable and interesting. This helps students to develop arguments and acquire the greater evaluative and analytical skills required to achieve the highest grades. I also work with students to improve their essay writing technique.

I have a relaxed and friendly approach to teaching and build excellent relationships with my students. My aim is to help them obtain the best possible results and thereby embark on the career of their choice.

Experience: My experience includes teaching at independent colleges and providing tuition to individuals and small groups. I have also taught students Sociology in one year with excellent results including several A*s. I am very familiar with exam board requirements and my students have achieved excellent results, including 100% in some units. In addition, I am a UCAS statement specialist and help students with their applications.
