I am currently an English teacher at an outstanding secondary school. I am very familiar with both Edexcel and AQA exam boards for GCSE. I also teach the IGCSE English Literature and Language course I enjoy teaching English and have many tried and tested methods of teaching which result in success. I have a vast and in-depth knowledge of the subject which I am able to pass on to students in a confident and competent manner.

I am currently an examiner for the new specification AQA English Language paper (GCSE) and therefore, have relevant training and experience in marking these assessments.

I am experienced in teaching students with special educational needs covering a wide range of learning difficulties such as: ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD

I am passionate about my subject and get real joy from watching the success of my students. I aim to inspire, encourage and invigorate my learners, so that they too can achieve to the best of their ability.

I am experienced in teaching KS3 and GCSE English. I am also experienced in teaching A- Level Film Studies.
