I am a highly qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Physics and General Science working in a high achieving 11-18 school. I can provide private tutition for Physics A Level, GCSE and General Science to KS3 having 20 years experience in the classroom and providing personal tution for all the major examination boards. I am friendly, approachable and have great success with pupils of different ages and abilities, I have an excellent and proven track record of pupils achieving and exceeding their target grades.I have a passion for physics and enjoy teaching the subject. My results for A Level Physics last academic year were ranked in the top few percent in the country and I was commended for this by the Headteacher.

Experience: I currently teach Physics to A Level and GCSE in a very large and high achieving School. I have fifthteen years teaching experience. Over the past several years I have provied private tutition to pupils/students who have consequently achieved high grades in their terminal examinations. I have tutored all major examination boards and have a very precise knowledge of what is exactly needed to excel in exmainations. I have several years experience of moderating A level Physics coursework for an examination board.

Mike has helped my son through A level physics since the beginning of year 12. He is very thorough and ensures that every topic is covered in detail. He also makes lessons interesting by applying principles to real world problems. Cameron has enjoyed the lessons and gained confidence through them and hopefully will go on to achieve the grade he requires for university study Many thanks

We used Mike for almost a year from the beginning of Year 13 (second year of college) to help with A-level Physics. He is very professional, very engaging and very knowledgeable. Our daughter has made significant progress throughout the year, as a result of working brilliantly together with Mike. We strongly recommend him as he closely follows the course specified by the college and goes into the detail required. Unfortunately, our daughter will not be sitting her exams due to coronavirus, but because of how much Mike has helped her we expect that she will get a great result. Thank you Mike!
