I have a broad academic back ground with a broad set of GCSEs and A levels covering maths, physics, biology, general studies, environmental science and chemistry a/s. Masters of engineering degree in mechanical engineering (2:1 hons) and a masters of philosophy degree in civil engineering. I I currently work in the nuclear industry and have done a lot of work across generation technology. I have always enjoyed teaching and tutoring and enjoy relating text book learning to real life applications. I am also more than happy to provide adult tuition. I have also been a STEM (science engineering maths and technology) ambasador since 2009 - this has mostly involved providing support in schools and demonstrating the benefits of a science and maths based career.

Availability: Week nights and weekends. Am available to travel or take lessons at my home (Quedgeley).

Experience: To date I have provided maths tuition for the most part but have a strong general science background and a lot of experience with environmental science also. Im enthuiastic and have always enjoyed teaching people the more interesting side of maths and science. I have also provided support to schools as part of my role as a STEM ambassador.
