I am a qualified primary teacher with ten years experience working within schools. I have a very warm, friendly approach and can tailor my sessions to best meet the needs of you and your child.
Parents have told me that my sessions have had a huge impact on their children`s education.
I have worked with pupils age six to fourteen and have supported them to become active participants in their own education.
I`m very proud to say that one of my pupils was chosen as one of Suffolk Young Poets of the year and got to read his work alongside Allan Ahlberg at Aldeburgh Poetry Festival.
Availability: Currently available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school.
I teach English KS1, KS2 and KS3.
I also teach creative writing skills to both adults and children.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught pupils age six to fourteen both as a class teacher and in one-to-one sessions.
I run creative writing classes for adults and work individually with people of all ages to improve their spelling, grammar and creative abilities.
Feedback For Mai (4)
Mai is an excellent tutor, esp for the creative writing. She guided my son for the 11+ exams and we could see lot of improvement from where he was and what he achieved.
Lovely lady, very professional and kind.
Mai is absolutely fantastic, she has recently started tutoring my six year old son and he loves her. He enjoys all of the work that she has been doing with him and cant wait for his next session!
