As a Specialist and former Examiner for both the AQA and Edexcel Examining Boards, I know exactly how the courses are structured and what skills Examiners look for to award top marks. I have over 30 years of experience as a Spanish teacher and Examiner in secondary schools in England, including roles as Head of Department at two of the schools. I also teach adults who want to learn Spanish for business or holidays. I have a very interactive and friendly approach to teaching. Also, as a native speaker, I bring cultural insights and first-hand experience into every lesson.

I use original learning materials designed to keep lessons engaging. For GCSE and A Level students, my lessons are highly structured and targeted to maximise their chances of achieving a top grade. For adults, the focus shifts to practical, real-world situations you will face on holiday or in business—such as greeting people, ordering food, navigating a city, shopping, and socialising. No matter the course, I keep learning vibrant by sharing fascinating cultural insights and my first-hand experiences as a native speaker. I am confident you will thoroughly enjoy the lessons.

Angel has made my son confident in Spanish and gave him hope which was previously lost by his class teacher. He has made my son stray away from failing his GCSE Spanish. We highly recommend his service because he puts in a lot of time and effort. His lessons are never laid back and makes sure my child always has something to do. The homework he sets is extremely beneficial to my son. I am hugely thankful for Angel.
