Language tutor with 12 years teaching experience offering French, Spanish, Latin and Classical Greek lessons.

The students that I have tutored have been extremely satisfied with my approach and the success they have achieved as a result of the sessions. I am ambitious yet realistic in the goals I set for my students, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve outstanding results. My approach relies greatly on providing my students with a firm understanding of the basic rules of grammar, which I believe is essential in strengthening a learner’s esteem.

I am organised, friendly and professional, and I always ensure that lessons are fun, interactive and fully prepared. I enjoy tutoring and my clients consider me to have a caring, professional and diligent approach. My aim is to make lessons relaxed yet productive. I have tweaked students in the past to achieve much higher than their predicted grades.

Experience: I have a total of 12 years experience of highly successful tutoring for children of all ages and adult learners. During this time, I have acquired a great deal of experience teaching the OCR, AQA and ISEB exam boards for Latin, Ancient Greek, French and Spanish, including experience teaching Key Stages 1 to 4, 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance and Scholarship Level, GCSE, and A Level. I also have experience coaching students in preparation for highly demanding scholarship exams, such as the Westminster Challenge.
