I am a 40 year old mum of four children (14, 10, 7 and 5). I gained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status in 2006. I recently worked as a Year 2/3 teacher in a Primary School in West Cumbria. I have also worked as a Year 1 class teacher and a supply teacher in various schools across West Cumbria, plus as a GCSE maths and A level biology tutor in Adult Education. I have been a Personal Tutor since 2008, after a friend of the family asked me to help with their child`s education, and the idea grew from there. I run a Private Tuition and Education Centre, working with other specialised tutors to offer a friendly, professional service with parental advice and flexible hours. Although we am mainly asked to provide help with English and maths, we cover any subject as required, for children and adults alike. We also offer lessons in guitar and keyboard at a very competitive rate.

Experience: I recently worked as a Year 2/3 class teacher in a West Cumbrian school. Prior to that role, I worked as a supply teacher in schools across Cumbria. I was Year 1 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from April 2007 to January 2008. I have been a Personal Tutor since March 2008. Since April 2011 I have worked in schools teaching the music curriculum and instrumental tuition. I recently taught GCSE maths and A level biology in Adult Education classes.
