I believe in making learning effective and enjoyable by employing different strategies and tailoring my teaching to the learning styles of my students. I have been told that I am approachable, patient and very committed.

Experience: I have taught in primary schools for over 16 years.I have also been involved in personal tutoring, from helping children experiencing difficulties in maths, reading and writing to helping children meet entry requirements for particular schools.
I have also been a maths tutor to students from S1 to S5 for many years

I used Karen for a few lesions and I felt that Karen took the time to explain things to me which made learning a lot easier for me and was always available out with my lessons to answer any questions.

Karen has helped me come on leaps and bounds with maths. I feel so much more confident at tackling maths questions and get excited when practising now. Karen is also amazing at making you feel comfortable and able. I feel competent to tackle maths questions which I was previously avoiding. I also love Karen’s teaching methods as she helps with various techniques and accommodates to your preferences. I am delighted with my progress and can not thank her and recommend her enough.
