I am a qualified, experienced secondary maths teacher and tutor. I am lively, enthusiastic and thorough. I think that there are three keys to successful Maths tuition: firstly ensure that students understand the basics, secondly to use varied and interesting teaching methods and resources and, vitally, to persuade students to always check that answers make sense. I aim to ensure that students understand why maths is important in everyday life and in the workplace. Prior to teaching I ran a successful publishing company.

Availability: I tutor from my home office in Bourne End. I am available weekdays (but currently full after school) and weekends.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I specialise in one to one secondary maths tuition (including A Level) for private clients and as a small group maths tutor in schools. I am an examiner for Edexcel GCSE Maths.
