I am a qualified teacher with 15 years teaching experience and more recently examining experience. I have a degree in Chemistry BSc (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, and a PGCE also from the University of Sheffield.

I am an examiner for several boards.

I have over 15 years experience of teaching the AQA A level Chemistry course and I understand it’s challenges and the aspects of it that students find difficult. I have more recent experience of the OCR A level course. I understand many students have high aspirations involving Russell group university applications/ applications for the competitive medical science courses.

I have seen many past students go on to study at top universities and also go on to study competitive courses (for example Medicine, which is the desired goal for many A level chemistry students).
