Information about Julie
I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of Mathematics (KS3 TO A Level) and Physics (GCSE) who likes to bring out the best in others. I am patient and enjoy seeing students progress and develop their understanding through thought-provoking learning and developing their own questioning skills. I also believe that learning should be a hands-on, fun experience.
I am a member of both the Association of Teachers of Mathematics and MENSA.
Availability: Every day from 10.00 am - 9.00 pm
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I taught Mathematics at KS3, KS4 and A Level for several years in a secondary school before becoming a self-employed tutor of Mathematics. I have extensive experience of one-to-one tutoring. All my tutees have made excellent progress and achieved grades that have been higher than expected, especially at A Level. I have currently branched out into teaching Physics GCSE, along with English and Mathematics at KS2.
