Please note I am not offering tutoring this academic year.
I am a Anthropology PhD student, offering tutoring in Philosophy, Anthropology and Sociology up to degree level as well as in History, English, RS and Politics up to A-Level. I am also able to teach students of any humanities subject from pre-GCSE up to degree level how to write a successful essay, with sound wording, structure and argument.
Availability: I am not offering tutoring this academic year.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been working as a tutor since the beginning of 2011, during which time I have been able to help my tutees improve their writing skills - and grades - markedly. I have tutored individual students over several months, helping them improve confidence and results in several subjects. I have also helped students revise in a structured, focused and productive way with only a few weeks to go before their exam. I have given students detailed advice and coaching with their coursework over several drafts, again improving their grade markedly.
My students have all given me extremely positive feedback, and told me how they and their teachers have noticed a substantial improvement in their performance in all of the subjects which I have helped them with.

I find the whole process of writing essays and interpreting the work of theorists and scholars rather daunting. Judy has not only increased my confidence and my writing skills she has made the whole process enjoyable, through her witty sense of humour. As you will note from her profile, she is highly educated in many subjects. I personally found her diverse knowledge of these subjects invaluable. She is very professional and comes highly recommended
