Information about Jack

I am a senior Lecturer in Applied Science and Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture. I hold a Bachelors and a Masters degree in various Biological disciplines, and am a qualified teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher and Learning and Skills (QTLS) status. I have experience teaching in the UK and abroad to different examination and awarding bodies specifications, and have taught a range of age groups and subjects including science (biology, chemistry and physics) from KS3 up to post-16 (including A-Level and BTEC).

Learning and teaching is a responsive process and I aim to identify very early on which strategies work best for my students through reflective practice, and to use this to establish strong foundations for structured subject-specific learning. I have high levels of enthusiasm and commitment for my students and am passionate about helping them grow in confidence and in achieving their academic goals.
