I am a highly experienced, qualified maths teacher and former head of department, able to provide expert one to one maths tuition at all levels including GCSE and AS/A Level.

I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in maths, a postgraduate teaching qualification and also an enhanced CRB check. I am also an examiner in GCSE Maths, AS/A Level Maths and Further Maths and have a comprehensive knowledge of all of the current specifications offered by the different exam boards.

I have successfully taught a wide range of abilities and ages, from students taking their GCSEs and AS/A Levels for the first time, to mature students needing to pass maths exams in order to progress in their careers. I am also able to help students in preparation for STEP and MAT papers, and undergraduate level maths and statistics. Additionally I can assist in the maths elements of various university admissions tests for degrees such as medicine, physics, business and mechanical engineering (e.g. TMUA).

I have a wide range of teaching and revision resources that I can share with you, and can organise a programme of study to suit your individual needs.
