Information about Jodie

I am currently a special educational needs teacher holding a postgraduate in education with special educational needs. I also have a Psychology BSC 2:1 Classification degree that I completed at Bournemouth University. I am a friendly and enthusiastic 29 year old who is fully CRB checked and has a professional work attitude. I have worked alongside both mainstream and special needs children and I believe that anyone can achieve the grade or understanding required that they want if they put their mind to it, and failure is not an option for me.

The importance of revision and new learning links to the techniques used, and therefore this is an extremely important aspect for me. With the years of studying experience and the subjects that I have taken being quite full on and mainly essay based I have learnt the importance of correct revision techniques over the years, and have also learnt the different types of people and differences in how individuals learn.

I tailor my tuition to the need of each individual, and with my previous experience, my high expectations, my confidence, honesty and guidance I feel I can help you or your child achieve the grades they wish to receive.

Please do contact me for a general chat or to request a tuition date or time, or for any general queries that you may have I will be happy to receive.

I look forward to speaking soon,

Many Thanks,
Jodie

Experience: I have tutored a student before who was struggling with their psychology A level and who had received low marks prior to my tutoring. After a few weeks of my help she managed to achieve excellent high results in her final exams!!!

I also tutored a sociology student who was predicted a D at the end of her A level exams with my tuition she achieved a B!

After studying hard from the age of 14/15 for my GCSE`S and continuing on to A levels (Psychology, Sociology, ICT, Philosophy & ethics and general studies) then onto both of my degree, as well as achieving my course in Bronze leadership. I now understand that not every individual revises and takes in information in the same way. This is the key to success- understanding which revision technique is best for you, and once this issue has been tackled the rest seems simple. I feel that I can help you as a student to achieve this and to make your revision more fun (as fun as revision can be) but a lot more easier and stress free which every student needs.

I have also worked with special needs children in an educational environment and so I understand the importance of communication and the simple factors such as actually being able to understand one another in order to help with the revision process.

With these past experiences I believe I can help you to achieve the grades you wish for in your final exams!
