I have a calm attitude and am willing to help students to achieve their potential. I give my students my email address so and mobile number so I am contactable between sessions to sort out problems that may arise.


I have a relaxed style to tutoring and work with the students to iron out any problems I like to make my sessions relaxed, interesting and enjoyable but challenging and introduce methods to achieve exam success in all sessions including revision and examination technique.

Availability: After school and weekends.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have been teaching for 13 years and am currently Head of Chemistry in a local Derbyshire School. I have worked for AQA for the last 10 years as an examiner and moderator for A level Chemistry. I have been able to match current exam experience to my teaching to enable students to achieve high quality results. i have experience of getting students up to the standards needed for medicine or Oxbridge.

I have a large amount of experience of teaching both Chemistry and Biology to Advanced level and physics and maths to GCSE standard.
