I have over ten years experience teaching durning which time, I was Head of Biology and Deputy Principal at a school in London. I taught A and AS Biology, GCSE Biology as well as Biology to Common Entrance level. I organised Easter Revision courses which emphasised the importance of both course content and examination technique.

More recently, I have done individual tutoring at A and AS level.

My committments to my family put my teaching career on hold but as my children are now older (one is at university, two are studying for their ASs and the fourth is in year six preparing for Common Entrance), I am keen to be more actively involved in education. Helping my own children navigate through the exam system has helped me understand and appreciate the needs of a student even more than I did before.

I am a graduate of Trinity College Dublin. I was awarded a B.Sc. (2.1) and a Higher Diploma in Education (2.1).

Availability: Week days 4pm to 8pm
Weekends 9am to 2pm
