After lecturing in English for many years, I am now a friendly and patient tutor. I encourage and assist all my tutees to achieve to the best of their potential and improve their grades. I tutor on a one-to-one basis or in small groups from my home or at the tutee`s home. I tutor all ages in literacy, KS2-KS3, GCSE and A Level. I have access to, and experience in, all the new specifications and have had excellent proven pass rates in GCSE and A Level. I can provide references from former tutees if required. I also tutor in Higher Education, dissertations (not only in the subject of English) and Creative Writing.

Experience: I have lectured English Language and English Literature at GCSE and A Level for many years at an FE college. Previously, I taught English to students of other languages (TESOL) and basic skills literacy. I now tutor on a one-to-one basis, including small groups, assisting students to pass exams or improve their English, in both written and spoken skills for which I have had outstanding successes. I have been an examiner for OCR A Level, AQA A Level and a member of the Institute for Learning (MIfL). In addition to the above, I am part of a Creative Writing group, where I assist writers in poetry and novel writing and a variety of other genres and have a Masters Degree in the subject. I tutor at degree level and for dissertations, not only in the English subject.
