Information about John
I teach in science laboratories in a University during term time. Formerly, a Maths and Physics teacher in schools before returning to do my PhD.
Have a real passion for Maths and I also like learning foreign languages. My French is pretty fluent and I worked there for a while. Maths was also my hobby at school. Keen cyclist.
I will do open garage / gazebo or garden lessons if you like.
My other passion, job and life is playing guitar. I do gigs ... well ... did gigs before lockdown.
Availability: Available evenings 6 pm to 10 pm from Monday to Thursday
Daytime is variable.
I have my own transport and can travel to students as I do in most cases.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: Tutored for more than 20 years. Was a Maths and Physics school teacher.
Presently teach in a university.

John is such a great,friendly tutor. Our son has had lessons for 8 months now and his confidence and ability in Maths has vastly improved. Our son even looks forward to his lessons(that would be a first)!!! We definitely would recommend John,you won`t be disappointed.

Declan has really engaged with John. It`s the most positive I`ve seen him in a long time. He improved his performance in Physics and passed his Prelim. I`m hoping that I can continue to send Declan to John in the run up to his Higher exam. Thank you
