A French waiter in the hotel we play in told me last Xmas that I should teach French. I`m not a trained teacher in French but I can speak it. Normally I teach Maths and science. However, I could be available to give some guitar lessons in the summer. I play in various function bands for weddings, ceilidhs, house parties. We do a variety of Swing, Jazz, Latin, Themes, Rock Covers, Country, + other styles. I could maybe help with some coloured chords and progressions for song accompaniment and some ideas for solos. Information about John

I teach in science laboratories in a University during term time. Formerly, a Maths and Physics teacher in schools before returning to do my PhD.

Have a real passion for Maths and I also like learning foreign languages. My French is fluent and I worked there for a while. Maths was also my hobby at school. Keen cyclist.

I also play guitar in a professional band.

Availability: Available evenings 6 pm to 10 pm from Monday to Thursday and at weekends during the day.

I have my own transport and will travel to students, as I do in almost all cases.

Experience: Tutored for more than 20 years. I started tutoring by helping my classmates when at high school. Was a Maths and Physics teacher for several years.
