After 18 years as a solicitor in private practice, including 5 years running my own firm, I decided to teach, the realisation of a long term plan.

A major benefit of my professional history is the knowledge and ability to help students understand difficult concepts in law and business with the use of examples and anecdotes from experience. It increases adaptability of my methods of teaching a diverse range of learners, to ensure their interest is engaged and that as individuals each achieves what they are capable of and often beyond. To know how something works increases understanding.

My particular method of tutoring is to simplify concepts - I strongly believe that organisation of knowledge in an easily understood manner is key to exam technique and success. It`s not clever to decorate a house before it`s built!

Availability: By Arrangement

Please note my charges are £30per hour for tuition sessions, with a minimum session time of two hours

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: In addition to lecturing at a FE College at various levels and on diverse subjects, I also provide Private Tuition to GCSE, A Level and Undergraduate students in Law and Business, and am currently assisting and coaching students on their Doctorate thesis.

I am called upon regularly to coach students on such subjects as Psychology, Sociology and History

I am accredited to provide Continuing Professional Development courses and seminars to the legal profession by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
