Helen

Hi there,

My name is Helen and I am a 28 year old teacher from Rotherham. I have worked as a science teacher in the South Yorkshire area for the past 5 years. I am currently working at a school in Barnsley where I teach science at key stage 3 and 4.

I love working with young people and helping them to achieve their goals. I have a friendly personality but also have very high standards. I will strive to make sure my students are making good progress every lesson. I have a very active approach to teaching with the intention of making learning more stimulating and effective. I have access to many resources including past exam questions and text books/revision guides.

Availability: I am available week day evenings. I am more flexible during the school holidays.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have taught science for 5 years. During this time I have worked in school across South-Yorkshire. I am currently a science teacher at a school in Barnsley. I can offer all science subjects at KS3 and KS4 and Biology at A level.

I have coached young people in sports and have had a lot of experience working in the sporting field. I have coached football abroad and have completed a number of sports coaching awards. I can therefore also offer GCSE and A-level PE/sport studies as one of my specialist subjects.
