Information about Helen

I am a professional actor with a wealth of experience. I know what drama schools are looking for in auditions as I have sat on the panel. I am happy to advise on monologue selection, advice for the interview and constructive feedback on performance.

I am head of Learn and Train for Rough Fiction, a physical theatre company. We run workshops and residencies in schools, colleges and universities on devising and physical theatre.

Freelance I have taught in schools across the UK as a drama Specialist, focusing on GCSE and A Level qualifications.

In business I work with teams and individuals as a freelance coach and facilitator. I specialize in effective communication and am certified by Thomas International to deliver PPA. Clients include: Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Bentley, Sony, Royal Mail and many more.

I am from from London and based in st Leonard`s on sea. I am interested in exercise, galleries, theatre, film, spirituality and vegan chocolate!


Availability: Flexible: daytimes, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have coached students from 14-50 years old, in a variety of areas including: how to get into drama school, improve their public speaking, looking for a career change, A-Level and GCSE Drama and Theatre studies, speeches and those who have never acted before.

As an actress I trained at the prestigious Drama Centre London, (Tom Hardy, Colin Firth, Emilia CLarke etc) and won the Alan Bates Award for most outstanding newcomer after graduating. When I played Madame Bovary in Breakfast With Emma, I was nominated for best actress and was the first woman to play Hamlet in the South East of Europe.
I have toured the world and performed in the Old Vic and Westend with actors such as Kevin Spacey, Diana Rigg and Rupert Everett. TV experience includes leads in series for the BBC, ITV and US. Filmes in Cannes and recognition from FIlm International. I am currently filming Call The MIdwife and about to play Lady Macbeth for the award winning Antic Disposition in London.

As a communication skills coach and specialist I have ten years of experience working with public and private sector companies across the world, from SONY to the NHS to Goldman Sachs. I have experience in everything from influencing and persuading skills, managing up, personal impact, story telling, flexing your style and presenting with impact.
