Information about Helene
I am a French native speaker born in the south of Brittany.
Over the years I have learnt English, German and had some fun with some Spanish and Italian. My experiences of learning languages have been different and I believe it helps me with my teaching.
I have a life passion for languages and I hope I can share it with my students.

Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I qualified as a French and German language teacher in 1999. Since I have taught in comprehensive schools as well as in an international school in London. I am experienced in preparing students for the GCSE, A Level and IB exams.
When I moved to Birmingham, I decided to work privately, I am now teaching French in companies, groups in the community and privately face to face or online.
I teach all ages and all levels. My oldest student is in her 80ies. There is no limit.
Many of my private students are adults who are interested in learning French for pleasure, work or because they would like to move to France in the future.
I also have many young learners, primary school aged as well as teenagers preparing for their GCSE, A Level and Degrees.
I have an informal and flexible approach. As I teach one to one or small group, I am able to focus on each student`s needs and requirements. I place a lot of focus on speaking work. I understand the difficulties that come with learning a language and I work hard on giving my students the confidence and tools they need to enjoy their learning.
