Information about Heather
Prior to retirement I was tutoring PGCE trainee science teachers at a local university, this follows a teaching career spanning more than 30 years, the last 20 teaching A level and GCSE chemistry at a high achieving 14-18 local comprehensive school. In addition I have been tutoring individual students in my local area for the past 14 years. I am an examiner for two exam boards marking chemistry at both GCSE and A level. I hold a First Class Hons degree in chemistry, a PGCE teaching qualification and an MA in education learning and teaching. Previous tutees have had a positive experience, gaining confidence in their own ability and ultimately working towards their full potential.
Availability: Anytime during the week with flexibility to include some weekends when close to exams.
