I am a Headmistress of an Independent Junior and Senior School in Lincolnshire. I have been teaching for over 30 years and have taught pupils of all abilities.

I am available to tutor for 11+ examinations and my specialism is English.

I offer GCSE and A` Level English Language and Literature. I also have experience of teaching dyslexic pupils.

I offer GCSE History.

I offer intensive preparation for Grammar Schools and for revision prior to public examinations. This includes a targeted GCSE course in the Easter holidays prior to GCSEs.

My aim is to help pupils pass their examinations without making them feel that they are simply engaging in `more school`! This is particularly important when pupils find a subject such as English challenging.

I help parents liaise with School if necessary; can help with personal statements for university and college and help with 6th form applications.

Availability: Late afternoon, evenings and weekends. I also hold intensive workshops and one to one teaching during school holidays. I am also able to offer on-line lessons.

Experience: I have over 30 years teaching experience in both Independent and State Schools.

Schools taught in which I have taught include: Grammar schools, Comprehensive schools, single sex and co-educational schools. I have been a Head of Department and GCSE English Examiner.

I have taught GCSE History and Sociology.

I have prepared pupils for Common Entrance Examinations as well as 11+

I teach both Edexcel and AQA English Language and Literature.
