Information about Caroline
I have been a History teacher since 1976 and have taught at some excellent schools. I teach History at KS3, GCSE (including iGCSE), AS and A2. I have a Lower Second degree (Hons) in History aand Sociology from UEA and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education.I have also taught Sociolgy at A Level and was an examiner for many years. Politics A Level is a third subject which I taught for many years. Last year I retired from teaching but am keen to carry on tutoring a subject which I love.
Availability: Most evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: 36 years teaching a diverse periods ofHistory from 11-18, 20 years teaching A` level Sociology,4 years teaching A` Level Politics.

Caroline was amazing. My A level son was finding it hard to get his head around the coursework/project. So after going through all the reviews I booked a session with Caroline.
She had planned the lesson thoroughly and had all the resources ready. Obviously this had taken a lot of her own time. She delivered in an interesting and inspirational way. Afterwards my son went to Costa and scribbled notes and ideas for over an hour based on Caroline`s lesson. He is now half way through his project and will definitely return to Caroline when he gets another writer`s block! We drove over 20 miles to use Caroline because she looked like an experienced teacher who knew what she was doing (not like some tutors who are full of enthusiasm but little experience). It was definitely the right choice.

I studied history last year. I achieved an A* star in history IGCSE. This was because Caroline `s focus on exam technique and study tips. I would recommend Caroline to those students who wish to get the very top grades.

I find that her exam minded approach has been extremely in helpful in developing a knowledge and awareness of the demands of the igcse history course. Caroline has been invaluable in developing my confidence to taking this exam in June
