I have over a decade of experience in tutoring, having worked as a private tutor since the beginning of my A-levels. I am capable of catering lessons to specific examining criteria and am familiar with teaching new content. I completed both my Economics and Maths A-Levels privately (scoring 100% in Economics), which required me to be a a good independent learner as well as highly organised and dedicated. These are all qualities I adopt when teaching any of my students. This has placed me in good stead for helping students achieve more, not only through my teaching assistance but through encouraging good study skills/tactics and enhancing an individuals` ability to learn independently and effectively.
Alongside independently completing two A-Levels I have also completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification - which consists of a 10000 word essay after private study and research. My EPQ on the work and life of Sylvia Plath, I was awarded a score of 100%. I also scored 100% in my final English Literature A-Level exam. I took Literature and Society as an outside module at University, scoring a high 2.1.
I have a wide array of experience of teaching/working with others, ranging from running Debating and Economics Society in high school to organising various fundraising and charity events. As is evidenced by my charity commitments to youth clubs for several years and through volunteering and as a peer mentor, I really enjoy helping others, and am motivated to help people fulfill their potential.
I am extremely passionate about the subjects I tutor and am committed to working with individuals to help them strive for the best. I am organised and punctual. I will be a patient and approachable tutor.

Working as a Debate Mate Mentor I have also received training to make me as effective a teacher as possible. Though this is particularly targeted to ages 11 - 16, a lot of what I have learnt has been widely applicable to all my students.
As well as teaching for exams I have worked with multiple students on their personal statements for University applications and I have worked with adults who want to improve their conversational English skills/ interview preparation.
