I have a wealth of experience as an English teacher and can support you with all English A Levels and GCSE Language and Literature. I have taught both GCSE courses as well as A Level Language, Literature and the Language & Literature combined course. I have also worked as an examiner for the past five years marking A Level Language & Literature papers for AQA.
During my English degree, I studied modules on literature, language and creative writing as well as modern critical thinking. I have also completed a Masters degree which focused on 18th & 19th century Literature. My PGCE is in the post-compulsory sector which has provided me with many techniques to support a range of learners with differing needs.
During my teaching career I have supported students in class, in revision sessions and I ran an ‘English Workshop’ which enabled me to work closely with students on a 1:1 basis tailoring resources based on their needs.
I can help you with all aspects of your course including coursework, and I have some good links to programmes that are designed to improve your writing style.
I take my students education very seriously and I believe that every student can achieve what they want and/or need if given the right support.
In private tuition I can help support you to success by providing excellent resources, excellent knowledge of the curriculum and exams, and a positive attitude.

Experience: I have been a teacher for over seven years working in a Further Education setting and currently in a local secondary school. I have experience of teaching GCSE Language & GCSE Literature as well as all English A Level courses.
