Information about Sam
Having retired from full time teaching I now offer private tuition in Maths, Physics and Science.
I firmly believe, that with the right approach, Maths and Physics dont need to be scary subjects for anyone. I am qualified with a BSc degree in Science and Technology, having studied Physics, Maths, Astronomy and Electronics . This gives me an ideal background to support school students studying GCSE Science and Maths topics as well as adults wanting to brush up or enhance their own skills.
I have extensive experience in one to one coaching and mentoring, where my friendly and supportive approach has produced excellent results for many students over the last decade.
Availability: Day, Evening and weekends
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have wide experience of teaching to various age and ability groups from Junior school science clubs to trainee teachers and trainers. Having retired from full time teaching in 2010 I have been providing high quality one to one tuition in maths and physics for over a decade

Brilliant tutor, made everything understandable. I was horrendous at maths but Sam helped me achieve my level 2. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam.

Sam has only been coming to tutor our son for a few weeks, but we’re already seeing a difference. He’s punctual, his teaching style is great and he sends homework through as promised. We feel very fortunate to have found Sam.

Sam is teaching my 17 yr old son. He has lack of confidence but since he has started getting lessons from him he is coming out of his shell. Although I personally haven`t met him yet but my husband has and stated "he definetly knows his subject". Thank you Sam and keep up the good work.
