Information about Xiaolin
Hi, my name is Xiaolin. I am a native Mandarin speaker, known for being friendly and patient, with extensive experience in teaching. Previously, I worked as a music teacher at a primary school in China. Since 2010, I have been tutoring Mandarin Chinese in London, and I now have over 14 years of teaching experience.
I am passionate about my work as a teacher and currently assist students with their Mandarin Chinese GCSE exam preparation at a secondary school. I also enjoy working as a private tutor, with many of my students being children aged 6 to 15, ranging from beginners to advanced learners. I love all my students, and they enjoy their lessons with me. Since 2010, I have also been teaching Mandarin GCSE class at a Mandarin school. I am proud that my students have consistently achieved excellent results in their Mandarin GCSE exams, with all passing. Nearly 98 percent received a grade 9 and 8.
I specialize in helping students prepare for Mandarin GCSE exams, as well as YCT, IGCSE, IB, SAT, HSK, and more. I enjoy working with motivated students who are eager to learn.
I have earned several certificates, including Mandarin Spoken Level One, Educational Theory, and Educational Psychology. Additionally, I hold a CRB check. If you are interested in Chinese culture and are looking for a responsible and patient teacher to guide you through your GCSE Chinese exam preparation, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Xiaolin is an excellent tutor. She taught my daughter mandarin in a clear and concise way. She was very good explaining all the concepts and as a result my daughter really loved learning and obtained a top grade in her GCSE

Xiaolin has been an amazing tutor and I am so lucky that she agreed to tutor me. She has helped me get an A in my Chinese GCSE when other tutors thought it was "impossible" for me to pass.
She has supported me through all my exams and has helped me gain confidence within a month of teaching me.
Without my lessons with Xiaolin, I wouldn`t have passed let alone get an A and I fully recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Chinese tutor.
