I am a qualified Maths Teacher (PGCE) and have taught in schools in Harrogate, Knaresborough and Tadcaster. I have worked with pupils who have many different needs, and understand each one is an individual with their own style of learning. I strive to find the best way to help the pupil understand and enjoy learning Maths, and gain more confidence, so they can achieve the best possible results.

I have taught mainly KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) for over 10 years, working with pupils with a range of abilities, including Gifted & Talented and also many different SEN pupils.

I believe strongly in the individual approach, and provide lessons accordingly. I have a range of different resources depending on what suits the pupil best. Near exam times I can go through past papers with pupils and help them with exam technique, which can be half the battle! I am also available through the holidays to give the pupils extra confidence to start the new term.

I tutor via Zoom only, after school and at weekends. I can do half hour slots at £17.50 or one hour slots at £35.
