I attended Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School attaining 11 GCSEs. I then graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010 with a 2:1 in English Literature in Law. In 2011 I graduated from the University of Edinburgh reading English literature at Msc Level.

I further studied at the University of Liverpool for 2 years towards my PhD.

I will graduate in June 2016 as a qualified English teacher and begin work at a successful grammar school in September 2016

I have previously worked as a freelance editor and teacher GCSE level English at an inner city school in London.

I am now teaching in an oversubscribed grammar school in Lancashire.

I am available tutor adults or children from 11 - 18 and beyond in my own home or yours. I am also available for online tutoring and to check, edit, and proofread student`s work to check language use, grammar, content etc.

Availability: For proof reading work, I charge £15 per thousand words to check, proof read, and edit academic work.

Willing to travel: 5 miles
