I have been a freelance musician since 1983, and have a broad range of music experience and expertise. I am very passionate about music, whether I am teaching or performing, and always seek to share that passion.

Availability: A variety of times - including daytime, evening, and weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have played violin, baroque violin, and viola in many orchestras and chamber groups. I have led many concerts (sometimes directing form the violin), made many recordings, and have performed a number of concertos. I have taught those same instruments in several schools and also privately. I have given coaching to youth orchestra string sections, and also to string, wind and mixed ensembles. I have taught people in all of these settings of wide ability and age ranges. In addition I have conducted a number of youth and other orchestras in an extensive range of repertoire.
