I am an enthusiastic and proactive person who has studied International Events Management at University. I have had many jobs and interships that have helped apply theory and knowledge from my degree into the working world.

I have previously worked at Pembridge Hall (pre-prep) Primary in Notting Hill and am currently pursuing a career in teaching at Junior Kings School in Canterbury. I am working towards my PGCE in Canterbury. I have a passion for teaching and working with children to inspire creative thinking and lateral learning.

I love to work with people and am very organised, hence my choice in studying events management, and working in a School. I love to learn, and have a strong abillity in explaining what I have learnt to others. I have often been approached for help and guidence by peers and I feel passing on knowledge is a personal strength.

I have experience working with children of all ages, and have tutoring experience with sucessful results

Availability: I am available for most requirements, and would be suitable for someone in Canterbury or the surrounding area.

I am available for tutoring in the evenings during the week and weekend (Saturday after 4pm)

Child Minder/Carer
Primary Day carer for a family in the RAF (Fleet) – November 2012 to Feb 2013 (Temporary)
-Temporary Child minder for a family with 4 children aged between 5 years to 12 years old. Managing/over-seeing all daily routines with the children e.g. getting ready for school, homework, after school activities and crafts, as well as cooking and cleaning. Highly enjoyable and satisfying role.

November 11 to July 12– Eco Technology Show – Events Assistant (Internship)
Working as an event assistant hiring companies to exhibit at the Eco Technology Show, working in a small team in Hove. [contact detail removed]

April 10 to Sept 10 – Outdoor Events – Brighton & Hove City Council (Placement)
- Working in a small team dealing with clients wanting to hold events in the City.
- Assisting with the organisation and operational management of events within the City.
- Office based work included answering calls from event organisers, processing event applications including risk assessments, organising site visits, processing and facilitating filming and photo shoot applications, and liaising with relevant bodies/departments to ensure all aspects of the event are feasible, safe and comply with the Council licences.
- Knowledge includes risk assessment, licensing, health and safety.

May 07 to mid June 07 – Frisson Gallery (Paint & Beats) Canterbury,
- I worked here for a month and a half as a self employed Interior Designer and my job was to take charge of all sides of the smooth running of the shop fit from idea generation and CAD design, to the sourcing of contractors and artists, fittings and fixtures to putting on your overalls and helping with the construction of your designs to successfully create an art gallery space that is able to be used as a venue for regular exhibitions, to sell clothes, music, and art supplies and to host DJs and other performers for small `in store` events.
