I am a qualified secondary science teacher with a Chemistry specialism. I studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. I have qualified teacher status, having gained outstanding in my teacher training, and a distinction in My PGCE. I have experience in teaching all three sciences at Key stage 3 and GCSE and Chemistry A level.

I am willing to offer lessons online or face to face.

As a mother of 3, I have learned that positive reinforcement and encouragement are the key, along with a patient approach, often going right back to the basics, to identify the point at which the lack of understanding has arisen. I love it when people realise that they can get past the `mental block` they so often have with science.

I have taught mixed ability classes, and enjoy the challenge of helping lower ability students gain confidence, and high ability students to maximise their potential.
