Eleanor

I am an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated teacher who works hard and is able to personalise learning to students` needs.

After graduating with a First in Modern Languages I spent 18 months teaching English as a Foreign Language in Argentina and Ecuador in schools and a university.

I taught French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 at a secondary school in southeast London and completed my training through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme. During my time there GCSE results improved considerably thanks to engaging, well planned lessons and after school booster classes. Over the last 2 years I was Head of Modern Foreign Languages at a new school in Hackney.

I enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis and have created a wide range of topic-specific resources for the new GCSE specifications.

Availability: I am available for tutoring on evenings and weekends.

Experience: I am a qualified secondary school teacher (Modern Languages - French and Spanish) and a CELTA qualified English teacher. I also have experience of mentoring on The Challenge Network youth program.
