A friendly, funny and upbeat Female tutor based in North London offering private EFL lessons: English as a Foreign Language - Expanding your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and exam prep. Accent Tuition or accent softening / elocution, Dialects for Actors, English pronunciation, Drama and Theatre Studies A Level and GCSE, or help with preparing speeches / acting a song. I also teach public speaking and voice for performance to actors and non- actors alike. If you feel your public speaking is holding you back I am able to assist with this. I am a native English speaker, A BA HONS DRAMA graduate and drama school trained actress, and UK citizen with CELTA grade B with 6 years English teaching experience.

I have an MA in Shakespeare Studies at Kings College London and The Globe Theatre.

I am currently working as a Voice and Dialect Coach in the film and TV industry where I teach a wide number of clients from all over the world the RP accent and have achieved great success in helping Russian, German and French speakers to lose their accent to perform as English and American characters. I also work the voice for performance, improving breathing,resonance, projection, tone, vocal quality, intonation and expression. I have also taught numerous corporate clients such as the CFO of Pizza Hut UK, and a head lecturer at UEL to lose their accent and help with English Grammar and conversation.

Depending on your requirements, I work with the use of phonetics, practice exercises and poetry to work on perfecting vowel sounds, the tune of the voice, voice resonance and quality etc.

I have taught every level from beginners to advanced General English, Pronunciation and Accent softening, Exam preparation, and Business English. I have taught in large groups as well as one to one. I have recently worked at very demanding summer schools, which involved teaching from young learners to adults, at a mixture of levels and a very wide range of nationalities.

As a drama tutor I also have a great deal of experience. I have been acting since I was 5 years old, starting my acting career at a boutique stage school and working my way up through A level Theatre Studies, to studying Drama at degree level, then training at drama school, and finally entering the big bad world of professional acting.

Availability: 5 Days a week, mornings and afternoons.

I no longer work weekends or after 6pm.
