Information about Nusaybah
Hello, I am a qualified EFL teacher. I have a BA Hons degree in English and English Language and have studied the English language in depth.
I have been teaching and tutoring English for over four years now. I tutor students for several purposes such as Primary English (SATS), GCSE English, A Level English and EFL (English as a Foreign Language), IELTS and TOEFL. Other topics include university preparation, proof reading and academic English. I am in East London and I am prepared to travel to you depending on distance.
My first lesson is a needs analysis with the student to outline their strengths and weaknesses and also their learning goals. I also use this hour to correct a piece of assessment writing and carry out a few tests of my own, the writing piece would be sent out prior to the lesson.
During this hour, the student gets to experience what lessons would be like and also we are able to have an in depth discussion about their learning goals and what they want to achieve so that we can devise a suitable and interesting tutoring programme tailored to the students needs and interests.
I also teach online via Skype for those students who are far away.

Experience: I have worked with students ranging from 11-40 years including all levels from Beginner to Upper Advanced so I am aware of how ages and levels vary and how each group needs different activities and tasks suited to their pace and level.
I specialise in EFL but tutor GCSE and A level English also as I have a great passion for the English Language. I also help students prepare for their SATS exams and 11+ exams. I have proof read work for students and marked essays, book reviews and presentations which all need to follow an academic format as part of a student`s private tuition.

Nusaybah, has been working with my wife for a few weeks and we have already noticed a notable difference in her confidence, reading/writing and comprehension. Nusaybah has a wonderful way of teaching building on strengths rather than just focus sing on weaknesses. A+.
