I am fully qualified teacher with 2:1 degree in Biomedical science. I have a PGCE in education. I have worked in Further Education for 13 years as Biology lecturer. I have been offering private one to one tuition for the past four years.

I have previously worked as a Biology lecturer at Harrow college London from 2011 to 2014. In 2014 I moved to BMET college Sutton Coldfield Campus as A level Biology course leader. I previously contracted at Ofsted rated `Outstanding`, Dudley college, where I lectured AS and A2 OCR Biology. My last employment (2019- Aug 2023) was at NSCG college as A level course lead. I am currently employed by Sandwell college teaching A level Biology.


Having also taught on BTEC, GSCE science and adult courses such as Access to science, I have vast experience with teaching students with a range of abilities and learning styles.

I have contracted as an examiner for A level Biology by various exam boards. Through the training, standardisation and moderation process, I have acquired essential skills and knowledge of mark schemes to help students master the art of exam technique.

My approach to one to one tuition is to identify strengths and weaknesses, not only in subject knowledge, but mathematical skills,literacy skills, practical skills and most importantly exam technique. Through this process I aim to develop growth mind set of learners to ensure their confidence improves and to support areas for development.

Availability: As I am a full time Biology lecturer in sixth form, my availability are evenings , weekends and school holidays.

Experience: I have been teaching for 12 years and offering private one to one tuition for six years.

I am currently teaching A level Biology , following OCR specification and BTEC applied science.

Previously I have also delivered GCSE (triple science), A level biology (Edexcel, AQA), access to science and BTEC applied science.

Previous roles have also included A level Biology course leader, Advanced lecturer , GSCE science coordinator and science mentor for student teachers.
