I am fully qualified Maths teacher, so use the latest teaching techniques to enable students to really understand those areas of mathematics that are causing them difficulties. I can tutor a student for the following: 11+, 13+, Cranbrook entrance, Common entrance, GCSE, AS and A level. I believe that joining the teaching profession as a second career has given me extra enthusiasm for the subject, as well as empathy for the different learning styles of students. My aim is always to instil confidence in students so that they can use their knowledge and ability to succeed in examinations.

Willing to travel: 30 miles

Experience: All the pupils that I have tutored who have had difficulties with Maths, for a number of different reasons, have managed to conquer those difficulties and have achieved at least a Grade C at GCSE, when their level prior to tuition was Grade E.

Maths is not a subject that you can swot up on the night before and the earlier I was able to start tutoring, the better the results.
