Information about David
I am an experienced teacher of mathematics with a proven record of success, both in the classroom and as a private tutor. I teach maths from KS3 up to A Level and most of my tutoring involves coaching GCSE and A Level students for their exams.
My students describe me as friendly, patient and good at explaining mathematics in ways they can understand. Most of my students I have gained through word of mouth recommendations, or are siblings of previous students.
I have a large bank of exam papers and other resources which are invaluable in getting students the experience they need to succeed.
Availability: I am available on weekdays after 4:00pm and at weekends. I also have some availability during the day in the middle of the week.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I have extensive teaching experience both in the classroom and as a private tutor. I currently tutor in schools as well as privately.
Please note; although I am willing to travel, distances over 2 miles will incur a small fee.

David has given my son the opportunity to enjoy studying maths, from the basics through to the more challenging parts of the GCSE curriculum. Maths used to be the last subject my son started to revise or complete homework on, and now it is the first. David has taught my son an essential life skill. David has taken my son through past papers which has equipped him with the knowledge to think through typical GCSE maths questions and enabled him to answer any exam question placed in front of him. One of the most important aspects to me though, is the maths tutoring has afforded my son the confidence to tackle his other core subjects too. David is kind, considerate, keeps in regular contact when juggling future appointments, punctual and able to support not only his pupil but the worried parent that only wants the best for their children. David is a great tutor and I would highly recommend him. He is very helpful, knowledegable, considerate, patient and understanding whilst teaching Maths. When asked questions he is happy to go over queries as often as necessary and is clear and concise in his explanations. He has helped me make good progress and build my confidence ready for my GCSEs.
