Hello! I`m delighted to introduce myself as a passionate and highly experienced tutor of European Portuguese with a unique Angolan background. I hold a Bachelor`s degree in Languages and Modern Literature with a focus on Portuguese studies, as well as a Bachelor`s degree in Educational Studies, both earned from the University of Lisbon. To further enhance my expertise, I completed my Master`s degree in Intercultural Communications for Business and Professions at Birkbeck University of London.

My teaching experience spans various levels, particularly Portuguese A and B for IB and Portuguese A-Levels. I also take pride in my role as an examiner for prestigious institutions such as IB, Cambridge International, and Pearson. As a Principal for A-Level Pearson Edexcel Portuguese, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to my students. I have also gained valuable experience with OCR.

I look forward to sharing my expertise and enthusiasm for Portuguese language and culture with you on our educational journey. Let`s embark on this language adventure together!

Availability: I am available online on weekends and in the evenings. If you live in West London, we can meet in person once in a while at my place in Brentford.

Experience: In recent years, I`ve had the privilege of teaching Portuguese in a variety of educational institutions, both in the United Kingdom and Portugal. Currently, I am a part-time Teacher of Portuguese at Saint Francis Xavier Sixth Form College in England, dedicating two days a week to fostering language skills.

At King`s College Cascais in Portugal (Cambridge International) since September 2022, I`ve been teaching Portuguese as a First Language and Modern Foreign Language to students from Year 2 to Year 8. Prior to this, at the International Sharing School in Portugal (IB) from September 2021 to August 2022, my role included being a Form Tutor for Grade 9, Teacher of Portuguese for Grades 7 to 10, and co-organizing the Second Conferences of the Portuguese Language in an international context.

During my extensive tenure at the International School of London in England, from September 2012 to August 2021, I held multiple roles. As a Teacher of Portuguese A, I guided students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, in addition to numerous extracurricular responsibilities, such as being a Microsoft Champion for Language A and a Seesaw Ambassador. I also served as a Form and PSHE Tutor coordinated the ISL Reading Programme, and supervised Personal Projects and Extended Essays. My experience included participating in community service initiatives and co-organizing the First Conferences of the Portuguese Language in an international context.

In addition to my teaching roles, I`ve actively participated in examining various examination boards, including Cambridge International Education, Pearson, International Baccalaureate, and Oxford Cambridge and RSA (OCR) Examinations, further enriching my expertise in evaluating students` language proficiency. This diverse and comprehensive teaching experience has been instrumental in contributing to my students` linguistic growth and academic success.
