I have taught physics for 30 years in 6 secondary schools in and around London. In my teaching career I have been a Deputy Headteacher, Head of Science, Head of Physics, Head of Year 10 & 11. I am currently Head of Physics at Notre Dame Independent Girls School in Cobham, Surrey. I have taught in mixed comprehensive schools prior to my present appointment. I can teach pnysics to GCSE, A-level and Oxbridge Entrance level. I can also offer chemistry and science to GCSE.
Successful teaching comes about by understanding the learner`s current position and potential. We all learn best in small steps, developing a solid base of knowledge to facilitate our understanding. I have taught students of all abilities and I concentrate on building self-esteem and self-belief through encouragement, motivational lesson content and re-inforcement.

Availability: Monday & Wednesday evenings. Friday during the day. Weekends.
