I am experienced school entrance tutor with over seven years teaching experience. I completed the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2012. Since then I have held responsibilities including Year Group Leader, Gifted and Talented lead and most recently Year 6 Grammar lead.

In my final year working with Year 6, the class achieved the school’s best ever SAT results in Reading and Grammar. I am passionate about making subjects interesting and relatable to pupils. I tailor my tuition to the needs and talents of each student and use a mixture of real life examples and creativity. I enjoy watching pupils progress with their learning and grow in confidence.

When not tutoring I can be found trail running and sketching. I also run a fiercely competitive crossword challenge with friends.

Availability: I can offer flexibility on dates and times. Tutoring takes place in the evenings on weekdays.

Experience: My specialty is preparing students for 7 to 13+ entrance exams, successfully coaching pupils to achieve their goals in Maths, English and Non-verbal reasoning. My students have won places at competitive London schools including St Paul`s Juniors, City of London Girls’ School and Eaton House. I also have experience supporting successful progression to Berkshire Grammar schools such as Upton Court and Langley.
